Korean Ulzzang Inspired Part I: Eye Make Up Tutorial

Hello everyone! In today’s post and a few more posts after this, I will be doing a series of tutorials for Korean Ulzzang Inspired Look!

So what’s so special about the Korean Ulzzang look anyways?
Well, Korean Ulzzang look mainly focuses on the eyes, by making the eyes appear larger and longer in terms of width, fair skin, small nose, small lips and of course their signature ‘just-bitten’ lips.

1) First of all, dab some Too Faced Shadow Insurance with your ring finger onto both eyelids to even out eyelid discoloration for eye shadows color to pop and to ensure a longer wearing eye make up.
Applying eye products  such as eye primer and eye cream  by using the dabbing method is a great way to reduce wrinkle formation around the eye area as dabbing with the ring finger does not exert too much force onto the eyelid.

2) Apply Peach Fuzz  onto the area marked ‘A’

3) Apply Nice Ash onto the area marked ‘B”

4) Apply Satin Sheets onto the area marked ‘C’ and blend the three shadows well on the edges.

5) Tightline the upper waterline with BCL Makemania Data Pencil Gel Eyeliner in Jet Black.
Tightlining gives the illusion of having a pair of more volumized eyelashes.

6) With the Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner, Draw a thin line along the upper lash line from from the middle of the eyelid towards the outer eyelid.

eyelinerThis is to create a longer and sexy looking eye. Do not draw the on the whole upper lash line as this will create a more animated round eye.

7) With the BCL Makemania Data Pencil Gel Eyeliner in Deep Brown, line the lower lash line from the outer to inner corner of the eye.

8) To make the eyes appear sharper, use Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in 071 Pure White and line the middle 2/3 of the lower lash line.

10) Apply a thin layer of Koji Eyelash Fix-Clear to the Kiss Me Heroine Make Impact False Eyelashes and leave for 30 seconds before sticking onto your eyelid. Stick the false eyelashes as close to your lash line as possible.

11) Curl both the fake and the real eyelashes together with the eyelash curler again.

Notice how drastic the change is between curled and uncurled eyelashes? 🙂

12) Apply Maybelline New York The Hypercurl Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara onto the eyelashes to hold the curl.

13) Lastly, apply Etude House Color My Brows Eyebrow Mascara in Light Brown onto your eyebrows, if you have dyed a lighter coloured hair like mine.
